The Djinni are holed up across the Salt Barrens, to the northeast of town. Leave the town and follow your waypoint marker to seek out the Djinni.

When you reach the new areas, you will find them even more inhospitable than the other areas of the desert, which themselves were already rife with traps. In addition to previous traps, you will have to face off against spawn pits. These piles of rubble look pretty benign, but they continuously spawn monsters. You will have to destroy the spawn pit in order to keep the enemies at bay. Use area of effect attacks and distance attacks to destroy them before you get near them, or simply rush in and use your strongest melee attacks to break down the spawn pits before they can spew out so many enemies.

Other new traps include bone cages that pop up from the sand and trap you inside temporarily. In order to spring free of the cages, you will have to click on yourself repeatedly to escape. There will usually be sniper enemies nearby to take advantage of your compromised position.

Large Golems will also be present in this area, and you wont have faced enemies like this before. The Golems can summon large stones from the ground that will trap you in a small area, giving you very little room to escape the wrath of the powerful Golems. These annoying guys should be dealt with as soon as possible.

Head towards your waypoint. Once you reach it, you will only find more enemies waiting for you. The Djinni himself is not a dangerous foe, as you may have feared, but instead a source for more quests. The Djinni will give you a laundry list of quests to complete for no other reason than to amuse his fickle interests. These quests will begin with the next quest, the Djinni's First Task.
