Guild Wars 2 – The Flame Advances

This is the fourth mission in the Ash Legion Charr storyline. You need to report to Tribute Desertgrave at Junker's Scrapyard.

Head to the meeting location. Time for things go get a little screwed. When you arrive at the meeting place inside Junker's Scrapyard you are in for a surprise:
Flame Legion Assassin: “Here's our prey, just like Trybulus said! He knows every tail-wag you mutts make before you do! Ha!”
Hero: “Where's Tribune Desertgrave? How did you fanatics get this far into the Citadel?”
Rytlock Brimstone: “Bah. How they got in doesn't matter. What matters is how they're leaving: in pieces.”
Assassin: “Brimstone? What's a Blood Legion Tribune doing here? Trybulus said this was strictly an Ash Legion Op!”
Hero: “Trybulus was wrong. To arms!

The fight starts with the Assassin right in front of you. They are a Lvl. 8 foe, at the highest you would expect for this mission. He is flanked by 3 stalkers a well. Defeat them all to get to the next cutscene that is on the other end of this bout.

Sicaea the Shrouded: “The mission has developed a hiccup.”
Rytlock: “A hiccup? More like tuberculosis. Tribune Desertgrave's been taking hostage. Griefblade captured Fengar and tortured him to get information on the tribune.”
Sicaea: “Now he'll torture the Tribune to get what he can from here. I know Flame troops are mustering near the ruins of Rin. That's where they took her, where we must go.”
Hero: “We'd better wait until dark. That'll give you time to gather a strike force to back us up, Tribune. Then, under cover of darkness, we sneak and you storm.”
Rytlock: “Reckless. Audacious. Risky, too. I like it! I'll be on your tail when I have the troops to back your play. Good luck, Legionnaire.”

Head to the Southern part of the Black Citadel after you exit the instance you are in. This will lead you to the start of the next part of this mission, which is South of the the Gladium Waypoint. You will find an elevator that leads to the Ruins of Rin. Makes for very easy travel there. If you happen to have the Ruins of Rin waypoint, that is another fast way there.

Once inside the instance, head the short distance South to Sicaea. She will quietly call you over:
Sicaea: “Psst! Over here, and keep your ears down! This place is crawling with Flame Legion and the entrance is sealed with magic. We can't get in!”
Hero: “How do the Flame Legion get inside?”
Sicaea: “They use a magical trinket. Griefblade's second-in-command carries it. He's still out there somewhere.”
Hero: “Then we have a plan. Find the officer, kill him, and use his tricket.”
Sicaea: “Quick and Quiet, Legionnaire. Let's go.”

Head to the Southwest to start closing the distance between you and your target. As you make your way forward you will have a few groups of Flame Legion to kill. The first is a trio Soldiers, all Lvl. 8. Tear into them then continue on your way. Head up the walkway and you will be on the right path. It leads you right into pair of Lvl. 8 Blademasters so be ready for them.

As you make it to the top of the path and into the cave there you will find a group of 4 Flame Legion. 2 Axe Fiends and 2 Shadowblades. Kill them all then head into the cavern itself. Turn to the West and head out. As you exit, 4 more Flame Legion will ambush you. If you head to the west along the wall you will find a trio of Shadowblades you can defeat. Turn to the North after that to close in on your target.

As you get close, another trio of Shadowblades will impose itself. They have a few Stalkers backing them a well. Be ready for a bit of a fight here. With them down you will find your target. As you though a pair of Bladestorms will appear and interfere. Kill them and advance. Turn to the West and you will find him on the ground, resting. Talk with him to engage him. He is a Lvl. 9 Ranger so be ready for some good arrows to hit you. He is quite hardy so expect this fight to last a minute or so at least, even with all your help.

Now head to the West, toward the New marker that shows the entrance to their hideout. As you get close you will find at least a few groups of 4 Flame Legion that need to be dealt with. At the entrance of the hideout you will find 2 Flame Legion and a turret of theirs blocking the way forward. Destroy them all quickly. Unfortunately this creates enough noise that the nearby outdoor units will come over and engage you as well. Another 4 Flame Legion need to be dealt with.

Once they are cleared, approach the marker. Sicaea will approach and use the amulet to open the door. With that, just head inside. It is hard to miss your target after that:
Trybulus Griefblade: “Ah, Ash Lackeys! Looking for your tribune? We locked her up with only that cub's head for company – Fengar, I think his name was. Poor Fengar. Wait, I know you Legionnaire. Why aren't you dead? Seems I should've sent more assassins. Ah, well.”
Hero: “You could've sent ten times a many. Still wouldn't have helped.”
Trybulus: “I see that. Never rely on a dull knife, as they say. I would have done you personally, but I was busy torturing that chatty cub you sent me. Of course, I don't need him now that I have Torga. She hasn't been cooperative – yet. But I'm sure Imperator Baelfire will change that.”
Hero: “Your imperator will never see Torga. Not if I have anything to say about it.”
Trybulus: “No? Then we'll have to cut out your tongue and keep you from saying anything at all. Guards! Wipe out this annoyance while I get back to work.”

Immediately you are attacked by 2 stalkers and an Axe Fiend. Rytlock Brimstone will show up just a the second wave of Flame Legion show up and come to carve their names into your hide. Just pound away on them all until you make it through the 3 waves of Flame Legion.

On the other side of the fighting you have another cutscene:
Torga Desertgrave: “Fengar begged for a mission. He said he was ready, and I trusted him. I caused his death.”
Hero: “It wasn't your fault, Tribune. Fengar knew what he was getting into. He died a soldier's death, and we can be proud of him. Griefblade disappeared a we were closing in, but we'll get him for this, Tribune. I swear it.”
Torga: “I can offer you some help with that. While Trybulus was holding me prisoner, I gathered information from his soldiers. Trybulus has another safehouse in Igni Catrum. That's where he's gone.”
Rytlock: “I'm not sitting this one out, Torga. Trybulus dies for what he's done. I'll beat him to death with his own horns!”
Hero: “Respectfully sir. If we storm in, Trybulus will just elude us again. We have to do this Ash Legion style: quick and quiet.”
Rytlock: “Fine. We do it your way. Sicaea, take Torga back to the Citadel. The legionnaire and I will handle Trybulus.”

This will finish out this mission. Just leave the instance and it is time for the final mission in the series: “Quick and Quiet”
