Guild Wars 2 – Through the Veil

Head over to Snow Leopard's Shrine in the Wayfarer's Foothills. Here you will meet Eir Stegalkin and a portal to the Mists that will allow you to interact with the Spirit World.

Once inside the instance there will be a nice conversation between Havroun Svena and Eir:
Havroun Svena: “Eir Stegalkin! Good to see you again. And you brought the Slayer of Issormir. I'm honored by your visit.”
Hero: “The honor is mine, but this is not a social call. We've come for your help. Something awful is happening in the Mists.”
Svena: “As I feared. I've been sensing disorder in the Spirit world, and Wolf's shrine is shrouded in dread. Tell me what you know.”
Hero: “Valda, the Wolf Apprentice, was struck down by something sshe saw in the spirit world. Now she's gone mad, ranting and raving.”
Eir: “Her master, Havroun Solvi, is missing. Shaman Gamli has done all he can do for Valda, but we need your help to enter the Spirit World and right this wrong.”
Svena: “I see. I can take you, but it will be dangerous. Opening the portal requires all my concentration. Once we're in, I'll need you to protect me or we might not get out again. Let's get started. Leopard willing, we won't be too late.”

Havroun Svena: “Snow Leopard, grant us your stealth. Let us slip into the land of secrets. We come to aid those who have devoted themselves to defending the Spirits of the Wild. Bless us with your vision and shield us from the rising evil. Grant us safe passage to the Mists!”

Once inside the Mists the party is in for a less than pleasant surprise. The Sons of Svanir have made it into the Spirit World. A pair will run up and attack the party outright. Svena needs time to reenact the ritual to break the party out of the Spirit World and return to the Real World.

The first wave has 3 Sons of Svanir coming at the party. They are all Lvl. 4. When Eir calls it out, a second wave is only a moments behind. 3 More will come out initially but another pair will appear shortly after. Just defeat them all and Svena will complete the ritual to return everyone to the Waking World. Once there, turn around and talk with Svena, there is a bit to be said here:
Svena: “I've never seen anything like this. Jormag isn't a Spirit of the Wild. Its followers should not be able to enter the Spirit World, even if they called themselves 'shamans.'”
Eir: “That could be why Valda is ranting about invaders. The Sons os Svanir must have attack the Wolf harvoun – like they attacked us.”
Svena: “I need to rest and mediate to regain my balance. Afterward, I will speak with Valda.”
Hero: “It won't be easy. Valda is raving, lost in madness. Nothing she says makes sense.”
Svena: “Not to you perhaps, but maybe I can decipher it. I'll meet you at the Great Lodge.”

Head back to the Great Lodge now. Just fast travel to Hoelbrak and head for the marker deep within at the Great Lodge. Once inside there is more that needs to be said:
Svena: “Valda's condition has not improved. I believe her spirit is stuck between this world and the Mists. She cannot return fully to her body.”
Hero: “How is that possible?”
Svena: “Havouns can physically enter the Mists, but we must leave our bodies behind and send just the spirit. It is extremely difficult.”
Eir: “What if Solvi was killed while teaching Vlada how to step into the Mists? It could leave her mind trapped there, lost in the spirits”
Svena: “Yes. But if we rescue her from the Mists, we'll have to fight the Sons of Svanir. And I am no match for them there.”
Eir: “Then we need a more experienced havroun. I suggest either Weibe of Raven or Grechen of Bear. They do not get along at all, so we should approach only one of them.”
Svena: “Agreed. Either would have a better chance than I. Gamli and I will care for Valda until you and the Slayer return.”

Now it is time to make the choice in this storyline. Do you recruit the help of the Bear or Raven Havroun. Choosing Bear will lead you to the quest, “Blessed of Bear” and choosing Raven will lead to “Raven's Revered.”
