Guild Wars 2 – Help the Luminates Plant krewe maintain the power grid
“Activate mini-conduits, stop Inquest interference, and destroy energy distortions and mosquitoes drawn to the grid.”
head to the East from the Artegon Waypoint. You will find Researcher Ahjj. Talk with him to learn more of what is going on that needs help:
Researcher Ahjj: “Our krewe maintains the power plant and its conduit towers. We yield some impressive results, though we have our share of problems.”
Hero: “What sort of problems?”
Ahjj: “The energies passing through our towers draws the attention of bothersome insects, and lightning elementals. Any help disposing of them would be appreciated.”
Hero: “Just bugs and elementals? Is that all?”
Ahjj: “A much more concerning issue for us in the Inquest. They continually sabotage our conduit tower. Pelase, keep them clear of here.”
Hero: “Is there anything else I should know?”
Ahjj: “We have small conductor devices along the road, managing energy flow through the conduit towers. If any are inactive, please reactive them.”
First heading over to the nearby Mini-conduit Tower and reactivating it if needed. Now head along the road to the Northwest. As you do, you will find a great number of Mini-Conduit Towers to reactive. There is a chance this will draw any nearby mosquitoes to you.
As you travel along the road, look to its sides to find the mosquitoes. They are mostly Lvl. 12 and take some effort to kill off. This applies more when there are 2+ in a group. Singly, they are not too much of a challenge. As you head more to the west you will find they get stronger.
Finally, as you travel, you will also notice energy distortions. Interacting and dealing with these will reveal an Air Elemental that will appear and attack you immediately. It is also Lvl. 12 and quite feisty.
With everything completed you will get the letter, “Electrifying Results” with 82 copper:
“Your appearance here could not have come at a more opportune moment. Maintaining the power grid is a perpetual struggle, and we certainly appreciate your assistance with our efforts during the recent challenge - Ahjj”
Return to Researcher Ahjj as he will now be selling the following Karma Items:
Lightning jar: 154 Karma
Accessory: +5 Healing Power, Lvl. 12
Charged Scepter: 119 Karma
Scepter, Weapon Strength: 171 – 193, +8 Power, Lvl. 12
Charged Focus: 119 Karma
Focus, Weapon Strength: 159 – 169, +8 Power, Lvl. 12
