Guild Wars 2 – Assist the Opticalium with Lightning Research

head East from the Jeztar Falls Waypoint. You will find Opticalium Researcher Oisha just to the South of the road you were on. Talk with her to learn more of what is going on around the facility that needs aid:
Opticalium Researcher Oisha: “The  Opticalium is researching the use of light as an energy source. Electromagical conduction is our particular genius. The sparks around our lab are proof of that. Would you care to join our research efforts?”
Hero: “Perhaps. Tell me more.”
Oisha: “I see I've piqued your interest. We've developed myriad inventions in our pursuit of electromagical domination: generators that produce storm clouds, containers for wild energy, and even a conductrosphere.”
Hero A) “Tell me more about storm generators.”
Oisha A) “The generators sit dormant inside our lab. Simply turn them on, and watch the storm they produce.”
Hero B) “Tell me about the conductrosphere.”
Oisha B) “The conductrosphere is a mobile conductor. You'll notice several lying around the lab. Some are even generated by the roaming sparks and storm cloud generators. Use one to fill the energy containers.”
Hero C) “Tell me more about storm generators.”
Oisha C) “You'll find our wild-energy storage containers all throughout the lab. The only to transfer energy into the containers is to use a conductrosphere.”

Trust the asura to have something that has multiple parts and nothing too simple. First, head inside the lab to the Southwest. Inside there you will find almost everything that Oisha was talking about. The first focus though is the Storm Generators. Look along the back walls to find them. Simply interact wit them and some lighting strikes will show they are working. They will also produce a rogue spark (Lvl. 3). It will attack you. Once you beat it, it will be tamed and drop a conductrosphere for your use.

Next are the conductrospheres. Grab one from wherever you can. Now approach any of the Energy Storage Tanks. Get up next to them and use the Fill option. Just like with the storm cloud generator you will be attacked by Sparks. When you beat them the charge will pass onto the Energy storage container.

Finally, just around the premises are the rogue sparks. They are only Lvl. 3 and very easy to tackle as they only really shock you. Once you beat them, they will always drop a conductrosphere. Just use this as you need it.

When the renown quest is complete you will receive the letter, “With Gratitude” with 49 copper attached:
