Guild Wars 2 – Minotaur Rampant

Head into Hoelbrak and over to Stegalkin's lodge. As you enter you will get talking with Garm a little. After that, she will turn her attention over to you (as you get her attention that is).

Eir Stegalkin: “Welcome, Slayer. Now that the minotaurs are free, we can concentrate on Vidkun and his beast. I believe they're hiding near Hunter's Lake.”
Hero: “Then we're off to the lake to punish Vidkun and his little dragon minion! Simple.”
Eir: “Simple? That creature is a servant of the Ice Dragon itself. You should take dangerous opponents more seriously. Don't underestimate Vidkun's beast … or Vidkun.”
Hero: “I'm not underestimating them; I'm insulting them. Relax, Eir! I know this will be a real fight, and I'm ready for it.”
Eir: “You have to be more than ready. I used to be as eager as you, but I learned: Where Jormag's minions are involved, you can't overprepare.”
Hero: “With you around I'm learning all the time. Trust me; I'm ready for this. So is Garm, but the look of him, perking up his ears at the idea of a fight.”
Eir: “Garm's a bit like you: he always enjoys a good brawl. Let's go give him one. We'll meet you at Hunter's lake.”

After the conversation it is time to head into the Northern portion of the Wayfarer's Foothills again. Head to Krennak's Homestead Waypoint and go East from there to reach the entrance of the instance to begin the mission itself. Head to the North to find Eir and Minotaur. Time for a quick cutscene then it is onto the action:
Eir: “Minotaur seems eager to settle the score with Vidkun and his dragon minion.”
Hero: “if they'd been eating my friends and family, I'd feel the same.”

After that it is time to charge in and take out the various things on the path in. You have the Ice worms to contend with. There are at least 2 or 3 on the way. As you approach the entrance you have a 4 Icebrood Wolves and a Sons of Svanir behind a Ballista waiting there for you to approach. The 4 Sons of Svanir who are standing in front of you as well in the entryway. Move in toward the Frozen Maw. After that you have 3 more Sons to content with and an Icebrood Wolf as well. After tearing through the guards, Vidkun will appear:
Vidkun: “So you're the ones causing so much trouble! A snot-nosed kid and an old woman. Ha! Coming here was a fatal mistake. My thanks for delivering the Minotaur Spirit! My dragon beast needs a full meal before I turn it loose on Hoelbrak.”
Hero: “We're not delivering Minotaur to your pet, we're delivering your pet to him! He's going to trample that thing flat. It's over, Vidkun. You've butchered your last minotaur.”
Eir: “You attacked the Spirit of the Wild. We are their rebuttal. Defense yourself!”

Vidkun is a lvl. 12 Ranger who likes to focus on his archery. Moving in close does not really provoke him into changing to melee. Instead you need to worry about the massive dragon beast. While Vidkun claims to be invincible with the Dragon Beast, he will go down. Unfortunately he will revive with a hint of health when the Dragon Beast goes down. Just focus on the Dragon Beast and take it out first to avoid any complications.

After the fight there is one more cutscene with Eir before you need to head off:
If you chose Minotaur's Blessing:
Hero: “I'm not a shaman, but it's easy to see that Minotaur is happy and grateful. I hope this means no more minotaur herds attacking caravans?”
Eir Stegalkin: “I'd say definitely not. We didn't just stop these Sons of Svanir, we expanded our understanding of the Spirits. This is a victory to be savored, Slayer.”
Hero: “Oh, I'll savor it. If you, me and Garm ever go out where we're not on the edge of death step of the way, the savoring will be epic!”
Eir: “Ha! Count me in. It'll have to wait, though. I have a hall full of statues to carve … I'm feeling more creative than I have in ages.”
Hero: “Glad to hear it. You've spent plenty of time making me look good lately. It's someone else's turn.”
Eir: “You made yourself look good. I'm just here to smooth out the rough edges. I do have a lot more I want to teach you, but you've done enough for one day. Garm and I may call on you again soon. You should also count on us if you ever need help. Until we meet again, my the Spirits guide you.”

if you chose the Beer Merchant Disguise:
Hero: “I'm not a shaman, but it's easy to see that Minotaur is happy and grateful. I hope this means no more minotaur herds attacking caravans?”
Eir Stegalkin: “I'd say definitely not. We didn't just stop these Sons of Svanir, we expanded our understanding of the Spirits. This is a victory to be savored, Slayer.”
Hero: “Oh, I'll savor it. And if I remember correctly, you're going to join me in savoring it over a few kegs of Bear's Brown Ale.”
Eir: “Ha! I did promise, didn't I? We'll have to wait for the next moot though. I think the Sons drank all the Bear's Brown in Hoelbrak.”
Hero: “That won't stop us for long. Nothing can!”
Eir: “Keep that confidence, Slayer. There's a lot more I want to teach you, but frankly, you've done enough for one day. Garm and I may call on you again soon. You should also count on us if you ever need help. Until we meet again, my the Spirits guide you.”
