52 – Canalave City

As you enter into Canalave City, you will encounter one of Prof. Rowan's assistants. He will upgrade your Pokedex at this point so it will show images of both Male and Female Pokemon. Head on through the Entry Building and you will offically be in Canalave City. Talking wit the first person has them note that your clothes are damp and they suspect that you had just come back from Iron Island where you can apparently find another Hidden Machine. Head into the first house that you see and talk to the person on the right-hand side.  They will give you Tm 48, Skill Swap. The next place upwards is the Poke Mart. Here you can buy:
Left:
Air Mail, Quick Ball, Timer Ball, Repeat Ball

Right:
Poke Ball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, Potion, Super Potion, Hyper Potion, Revive, Antidote, Parlyz Heal, Awakening, Burn Heal, Ice Heal, Full Heal, Escape Rope, Repel, Super Repel, Max Repel.

The next house up has the Move Deleter. Talking with him will let you have a Pokemon of yours forget a move, even an HM move. This is a free service too. Next house up is the Pokemon Center. Above that is the Harbor Inn (there really is not much in there anyways). If your Pokemon need some healing, do so. The people inside will tell you about the Wi-Fi Plaza and that you can find HM 04 Strength on Iron Island.

Head to the right, crossing the bridge and you will find your rival, who will bump into you. He, of course, wants to see if you are ready to take on the Gym Leader Byron. He has the following Pokemon:

On the other side of the bridge, you can find a few more buildings. The one just above the bridge is the Canalave Library. Remember this part for later, though you can head in and learn a bit more about the legendary Pokemon. Below the bridge you will find the Gym, to be covered next, below that is a house with a Reporter waiting for you, Sailor Eldritch's House, again important later, and to the right of that the boat that will take you to Iron Island. With all that explained, time to take care of the next Gym. Head back up to that and get ready to challenge Byron.
