Guild Wars 2 – Out of the Skies

Head over to the Osenford Waypoint. Head over to the East and to the foot the rope bridge spannign the gap. There you will find the entrance to the instance.

Once inside the instance head across the bridge. There you will find Eir Stegalkin waiting for you:
Eir Stegalkin: “Windshear is on the hunt, and his savage frenzy is scattering everything in the region. Are you ready for this?”
Hero: “Is Windshear that fearsome?”
Eir: “Yes. The animals are so terrified, they'll lash out at anything and anyone. We won't be able to concentrate on Windshear with them so agitated. I advise you to quickly destroy these lesser beasts first, but reserve your greatest strength for Windshear.”
Hero: “The creatures already seem to be at each other's throats. Why don't we let them wear each other down then clean up the survivors?”
Eir: “Excellent strategy. That will put these poor creatures out of their misery and let us focus our efforts on Windshear. You're learning fast. I have Beigarth's unforged steel here. Once these mad beasts are gone and Windshear is defeated, I'll give it to you so you can whet it in the griffon's blood.”
Hero: “Let's show these beasties the difference between hunter and prey.”

Head to the East to finish crossing the bridge. There are a large number of Minotaurs roaming around the area that will attack you at will. You will find 5 Frenzied Minotaurs and 4 Frenzied Wolves, all of them level 8. a second wave of a similar make up will appear.

After the frenzied animals are dead a second cutscene will run with the Hero and Eir talking of the shriek they just heard. Eir will insist on killing off all the remaining animals before engaging Windshear. His flock consist of 3 smaller griffons that will swoop in and swing at your party. Once they are down then it is time to combat Windshear. Windshear himself is level 10 and very tough in addition to loving to fly around, making having some ranged options a great idea. Avoid any of his lunge attacks as they will knock you down and stun you. This delays all your skills and signets, interrupting your present attack.

After the battle, Eir will give you the metal to bathe in the griffon's heartsblood. After a conversation with the hero asking why Eir has taken an interest, she tells you to head over to Beigarth to finish your weapon.
