Guild Wars 2 – Assist Lionguard Hester in Recovering Slaves From Slaver's Depths.

“Defeat krait, rescue slaves, and put slave remains to rest.”
Head to the East of Kraitbane Haven into Quetzal bay. On the second island from the fort you will find Lionguard Hester on the Southern end of the island.

Lionguard Hester: The krait are a constant threat to Kraitbane Haven and travelers along the Lion Road. We try to protect our people as best they can, but it never seems to be enough
Hero: How can I help?
Hester: Several people have been taken as slave by the krait. If we don't get them back soon, the krait will probably work them to death. Recovering people would be your top priority.
Hero: Why aren't you helping out, then?
Hester: Someone has to secure the area to keep the krait from taken even more of us. That's MY top priority. Just get going, OK?

Again, most of these parts happen below the surface of the bay. You will find Krait slavers with slaves in tow. You need to track down and kill them. This is relatively easy. The problem is when the Slaver manages to escape and get some aid. As soon as you defeat the slaver then the slave they had in tow is freed. This does have the advantage of getting 2 parts of the foal achieved. The krait's death counts as well plus you free a slave while you are at it.

In the depths of the water, around Slaver's Deep, you will occasionally spot skeletons on the sea floor. Approach these and put the remains to rest. It may attract a barracuda but that's nothing too bad overall. Around here you will also find cells. They hold members of the Lionguards. These are just good to rescue on principle. It is also a good way to attract krait to you.

When the quest is done you will receive the letter, “Slavers” from Lionguard Hester with 86 copper attached to it:

“Dear Hero

The krait in Slaver's Deep have their tails between their legs. They won't be hassling us with as much vigor again any time soon. I just thought you should know. - Lionguard Hester”
