Guild Wars 2 – An Unknown Soul

Head into the area of Zinder Slope. Just a little to the South of the Waypoint there you will find Malyck and you are ready to continue on with the quest. Head Southeast up into the Mountain in front of you.Inside the Karston Chambers you will find Malyck on a ledge above you. Approach him to start up another conversation with him.

Malyck: So, valiant, you did show up after all. Tell me something. These “courtiers” - do they come from the same Grove that you do?
Hero: We are all sylvari, Malyck, but they're of the nightmare. I'm of the Dream. You don't know the difference?
Malyck: No, I've never heard of either one.
Hero: You remember the Pale Tree, yes?
Malyck: No. Look, we need to get the Wardens back to Falias Thorp. Here's the plan: we infiltrate and sneak the villagers out. Then … revenge.
Hero: You're strange, Malyck, but I like your style. Let's go.
Malyck: Hm. We could steal their armor and wear it as a disguise … once they don't need it anymore.

Turn to the South and attack the small group of Nightmare Courtiers there. With Malyck's help the fight will not last too long. Once all the Courtiers are down you will find a set of Nightmare Court Armor waiting for you among the bodies. Collect it and it will automatically be equipped.

Once your party has its disguise on, head on up the slope to the Nightmare Court's camp above you. Head on through the camp. You will hear the Courtiers talking about the Knight of Embers, her being in a foul mood and the captured Wardens being put up to conversion.  She approaches the hero and talks with them. She explains just what the Harbinger is, in a loose sense. He is the antithesis of the pale Tree and the Dream. He is the figurehead that can bring it down. She tells you to go and torture out whatever information you can from the wardens.

When Malyck and the Hero reach the Wardens they shed their disguises and begin their attack on the Nightmare Coutiers. There are a good 4 in the area around you. Start and maintain with AoE bursts to level out the field and get one or two down so it is easier to manage those remaining. After that you need to start cutting through the rest of camp. The former captives will take what arms and armor they can find and start to break out of the camp itself. There are plenty of Nightmare Courtiers in the camp to deal so have some fun with them.

Fight carefully and keep with the group of Wardens. As you start down the slope toward the exit point another group of Courtiers will attack. While there are 5 or so, they are nothing too bad even together. It is at the bottom of the slope you need to worry. There you will find a Veteran Nightmare Courtier with 2 other courtiers who are Rangers. The Veteran can inflict vulnerability so there is something of concern there.

Once everything is wrapped up in Joy's End the Hero and Malyck talk again:
Malyck: I owed these Wardens my life. You, Valiant – you risked yourself to save my friends, even though you've never met them. Why?
Hero: Because we're all Sylvari. We all follow the Dream. Can't you feel that we are related?
Malyck: Feel it? No. I feel nothing, Valiant. Only a great sense of distance, and loss.
Hero: You're too long from the Pale Tree, that's all. When you return, she will heal your lost memory. Come back with me to the Grove, you'll see.
Malyck: I hope you are right. I want to hear more about this “Dream.” If your friends can help me, then I will meet with them.
Hero: Make your way south to the great tree near the shore. I will meet you there. We'll get to the bottom of this mystery, I promise.

Head back to the Grove and take the elevator down and go to the Grove of Night. Malyck expresses his reluctant to meet the others but he is willing at least. Head inside and talk with Caithe and Trahearne. Here you have a choice to make. The choices are to look into the Dream itself to find the memories or to hunt down the place that Malyck first remembers and search around there to find clues and restore his memory naturally. That choice is yours.
