Guild Wars 2 – Help Yoal Weaken the Krait and Recover Kidnapped Hylek

“Defeat krait, bring her Hylek Armor and rescue Hylek slaves.”

Head to the Northwest from the Dominion of Winds Wall. You will find Yoal on one of the very few outcroppings of rock in the area. It is not too hard to find or complete.

Yoal: Please, help me. The krait are a constant threat, and I have to do something to help my people!
Hero: A) “What can I do to help?” B) “Tell me about your tribe.”
Yoal: A) Fight the Krait! Free my captured tribesmen! Show them there is still resistance. And if you come across any spare Hylek armor, please bring it to me. The krait often steal our supplies during raids.
Yoal: B) We live at Hazupl Grounds to the Northwest. Our tribe leader, Tatli, is normally … hesitant to allow travelers inside, but some adventurers helped his daughter, Cueyatl, so he is currently being tolerant.

Much like the earlier mission this one is about killing Krait in the water with some search and rescue thrown in. The Krait are easy enough to find and combat. It can be tricky if you have more than one or two on you without a strong set up. Head to the Northeast underwater to find the main Krait fortification where they are keeping their hostages. Look for the cages Hyleks. It will not take too long to get one out of their cage. Still, it will likely pull the attention of a nearby Krait. If more than one manages to get drawn to you, it is better to make off and try to run unleash you excel at taking on groups.

The armor is found randomly around the area. It is the least common part of the task. Once you have some just bring them over to Yoal who will gladly accept them. You get credit for both collecting the armor and turning it in. It makes sense in a way that the armor is rare for that reason.

When you have completed the quest you will receive the letter: “A Hardy Thanks” with 79 copper.

“Yeah woo! You know what? The krait are reeling from your short time with us. Thanks you your efforts, the Hazuple tribe now stands a chance. I'd send you a box of bugs, if I had any to spare – Your buddy, Yoal.
