Darksiders 2 Walkthrough Part 22 – To Move a Mountain, Part 1

Return to Tri-Stone via Fast Travel now. Just head straight South this time and into the door that was previously locked. You will find Alya and her brother in the Maker's Forge creating a Key for Death to use. Talk with Eideard to learn more about the Constructs and a little more about the Seals that were to trigger the Apocalypse.

With that scene done, turn and talk with Alya once again. Death can ask some about the key but he can also ask “I'm helping constructs and not makers?” which opens up a side quest through Alya: “The Hammer's Forge”. This side quest involves the optional area, “The Shattered Forge”. It is now possible to complete the side quest “A Wandering Stone” by activating Oran in the Fjord on the way to the Drenchfort.

Head for the Southern Door now. Go to the start of the hallway leading to it and turn around. Look just below the top of the forge itself. You will spot one of the Stonebites, a Stone of Mystics. Quick shoot it with Redemption to claim it. With that all sorted out it is time to start for the Nook. If Death visited it before than you can easily just Fast Travel there. Otherwise get over to Baneswood and head into the Northeastern corner.

Head into the Nook through the door and up the stairs. To the East of them you will find a glowing mass of stones. Interact with it to reassemble and mount the construct. Now roll the construct forward into the Ball socket on the floor. Turn it to the East and fire, holding the button, to launch a chain at the ball just beneath the door. Death will mount the chain and run along it, at your command. At the end jump up and climb up to the door above.

On the other side of the door awaits 2 waves of Tainted Construct Warriors. The first wave has 3 of them while the second has another 3. Keep mobile as their lingering corruption can do damage to the Pale Rider over time. Defeat them then head into the little tower in the Northwestern corner. There you will find a Shadow Bomb Growth. Grab some and start throwing them at the Corruption Crystals around the area. Start with the one in the Southwest where you can collect a chest from behind it. After that, plant one on the Crystals in the Northeastern corner. There you will expose the path onwards. Climb up the wall and head into the next room.

Shimmy out onto the beam and jump onto the wooden pillar in front of you. Climb up it and swing around to the other side. Lean and jump from there over to the beams that are sticking out of the wall. Jump along them to the hand holds and lower yourself down. Head over to the right on that hand hold then drop down at the end of it. Head South then go Northeast into the next room.
