Lego Batman 2: DC Superheroes Walkthrough Part 33 – The Next President
City Hall Rally
Follow the Ghost chips along the road to just past the bridge and turn right. Just follow that to the yard in front of City Hall where the Joker Robot is stand, flexing its hand. Approach it to start up the next stage. Lex reveals that he is using the Joker's Mind control gas to sway the public opinion in his favor.
The Next President
Batman and Superman arrive on the scene and it is time to get things back into order. Head over to the right and approach the Gold plated pillar on the right. Use Superman's Heat Vision on it to cut out a square and reveal some Silver Shiny piping. Change to Batman and to the left-hand side of this area. Look under the large monitor to find 3 glowing Speakers. Throw a Batarang at them to destroy them and expose the assembly pieces of a Suit Changer. This will give Batman the Power Suit he needs to destroy the various silver items around the area to move forward.
With the Power Suit have Batman head over to the right. Have him plant a bomb on the silver pipes on the right to start a flow of water. Switch to Superman and have him freeze the water and the pair up the ice to the ledge above. Head over to the Right as Superman and use his Heat Vision on the Gold Bricks covering the ladder to the right of the jumbo TV.
When you destroy the Gold Bricks blocking your path forward you will find they drop below and become assembly pieces. Put them together to yield a Suit Changer for Batman that gives him the Electricity Suit. Change to Batman and have him drop down and get into that suit. Climb back up and get all the way up. AT the top you will find a socket Batman can draw power from. Once you have the power, have Superman climb up and pull on the Gold bar at the antenna tower base. This will cause the tower to collapse a bit and give you a way to climb higher. At the top have Batman use his Grappling Hook to pull on the Target on the Robot's arm. This drops a ladder you can climb up.
Once you are on the Robot, go and stand on the 2 switches on its arm. This is compounded solely by the fact there are a few Robots that will attack your pair. Still, stepping on the switches will get the arm over by the Flower that is spewing the gas out. Have Superman use his Heat Vision on the Flower to destroy it and start another cutscene.After the cutscene, Batman and Superman need to square off against the Joker Robot again and more Henchmen. Over to the right you will find some assembly pieces that you need to put together to yield the first part of the Helicopter that crashed into the rooftop. Just to the right of it you will find the rest of the pieces needed to complete the Helicopter. Once it is completed it will take off.
With the Helicopter airborne you need to have Batman grapple up to it and hop into the cockpit. With Batman in there have it fly up and shine its lights into the Joker Robot's eyes. It will swat down the helicopter and cause it to crash down. Change to Superman and head over to the left. You will find a ramp leading up to a Gold Wall that Superman can cut through with his heat vision. Head down the corridor that you find behind the wall. Turn right at the end of it and have Batman approach the Suit Changer to don the Bat Suit.
Jump and glide over to the right, landing on the second Rooftop. Once there you have 2 rounds of assembly to go through. Put both together then turn your attention over to the Clear Blue Blocks in the bottom right part of the rooftop. Use the Sonar Gun on it to destroy the blocks and reveal the assembly pieces to create a ramp up to the second rooftop, making it accessible. Put together the ramp then have Batman change back to his Charged Electricity Suit. Head back to the Spot Light you just put together on the second rooftop and pass the charge into the socket there. This will fire up the spot light. Now have Batman hop into the seat and aim the light at the Joker Robot's eyes again. He will destroy the Spot light but he will also reveal a weak point in the Flower on his chest. Change to Superman and charge for the Flower: Grab the handle and pull on it. That gets the next cutscene to run and finish out the chapter.
