Guild Wars 2 – Help Gemai Support the Wardens of Wardenhurst

Warden Gemai is found at the Wanderhurst Waypoint. Approach and talk with him to learn more of what is going on in the area.

Gemai: The Wardens work hard to protect Astorea and the Grove. They cannot do it alone. Would you be willing to help?
Hero: What do you need me to do?
Gemai: Our main challenge is dealing with any undead that happen into the area. After that, you can help the warden train or assist them on patrol.
Hero: I'll lend a hand.

Finding Undead
Wander the area and look for Clawing Hands in the ground. Interact with them to summon up a Risen Brute (level 2). Just defeat it to start earning progress toward completing the event.

Training
Talk with Warden Shield, who is the East of Gemari.
Shield: With so much activity, we've little time to train. Would you be willing to spar with me?
Hero: A) What do I need to do? B) Sure I'll help you train
Shield A: Just fight me as you would a hostile creature. Experience can only be gained by doing.
Shield B:Prepare yourself. I won't hold back!
Hero: Let's get started!

Shield
She will attack with her staff. Still, you are not alone. Warden Gemai will join the fight once it has begun. When shield is reduced to half health, she calls off the sparring match. You can only do this once.

Speak with her again to finish the conversation
Shield: Thank you for the help training. It's clear I have much more to learn.
Hero: You're welcome.

Talk with Warden Scout and Ranger to the East for another opportunity to Spar.
Scout: He attacks with 2 axes. Just attack him with whatever you like to attack with. It is a simple fight to win.
Ranger: She starts with a flip kick that will hold you in place if you are hit by it. After that she will start shooting arrows at you.

Assisting on a Patrol
By assisting on a Patrol they are asking you to wander the nearby area and find Withered Territory Markers. Interact with them to replenish them and earn a little progress toward completing this event.

Once you have completed things, you will receive a letter from Warden Gemai. It says, “It was great meeting you. You were a big help to us while you were here. It's a huge burden on us, trying to protect Astorea. We'd surely have been lost, if you hadn't been here. - Warden Gemai” He awards you with 45 copper.
