Guild Wars 2 – Sylvari – Fighting the Nightmare

Ojective: Protect the Dream: Speak with Caithe's Spirit
Head straight forward and talk with Caithe's Spirit who stands before you.
Caithe: Dreamer, I am Caithe. I need your help. Can you haer me where you are, within the Dream?
Hero:Within the Dream? What does that mean? Why do you look transparent?
Caithe: I am in Tyria, a land far away. Soon, you will awaken here, but for now, you live in the Dream. I can't explain right now. We must hurry. Something is poisoning the Dream.
Hero: Poisoning the dream? Of course I will do whatever I can to help you. But why me?
Caithe: Your spirit is strong. Do not underestimate yourself. Head to the far embankment, and I'll meet you there.

Objective: Push past the Nightmare Hounds
Turn to the South and start toward the green, glowing star. En route you will encounter a few level 1 Nightmare Hounds. Defeating these will help you unlock additional attacks. You will find Caithe by a break in the surrounding wall. Talk with her to learn more of what is going on.

Caithe: This poison spreads hatred and anger. We must fight it.
Hero: A) Who caused this? B) What do I do now?
Caithe A): An evil group called the Nightmare Court. They wish to harm the sleepers. Trust me, sapling. All will be made clear to you very soon.
Caithe B)Be brave. Prepare for battle. When you face the darkness, remember that you are not alone (end conversation)
Hero: C) Why attack the Dream? D)I will trust you. Tell me, what can I do?

Objective: Find the bride and ensure its safety
Just on the other side you can join an event to Hold out against the Nightmare Hounds. This consist of numerous waves of lvl. 1 Nightmare Hounds.

Approach the bridge to the right. Abolris will approach your hero. He tells you “Caithe's gone to fight the Nightmare Beast. I'm sure she could use you there. To progress forward, simply cross the bridge.

Objective: Defeat the shadow of evil that has infects the dream.
Approach the clearing nearby the bridge. There you will fight a Shadow of a Dragon. This dragon is a fearsome foe but there are a number of people fighting with you. Just fight as you can and fight well. Once the Shadow is down, your Sapling awakens to the world of Tyria.

Hero: Where am I? I … I was fighting a great evil. Are we safe? Caithe__ where's Caithe?
Mender Serimon: Steady, Sapling. You just woke. You were calling out in your Dream. Caithe was just here but she had to go speak to the Pale Tree.
Hero: She and I fought side by side against a poison in the dream. I saw the dhadow of a terrible dragon.

You start here, in our forest. There were others hurt in the Dream. They could your help. Besides, it'll be fine training for a new Valiant!

Once the fight is over. You are given 2 choices of class based rewards and a Leather Bag to expand your storage. Equip your new equipment and you are good to begin wandering the forest.
