Game of Thrones Walkthrough Part 95 – Alester and Mors – Not So Wild, Part 1

Objective: “Go to Castle Black and help out Qhorin Halfhand.”
Once you have heard mention from Maester Harwyn that Qhorin Halfhand has need of Mors' help, you are free to embark on this side quest. Head into the Common Hall of Castle Black and go up to the second floor, where Commander Mormort was earlier. He tells Mors of the attacks on the Builders who were working on sealing up the hole that Gorn and his tribe had come through. He tells you what happened and why he is concerned. Agree with Halfhand to “Drive the fear of the Butcher into their hearts.”

Objective: “Go to Mole's Town to find the Wildlings' tracks.”
Just when Mors makes it to the outskirts of Mole's Town, he will notice a suspicious trader talking with the Wildlings.
Thistle is talking with Byman and Arson. They will bolt when Mors and Alester approach to any degree. Now the trail splits into two. They both lead to the same spot, it is just a question of how one gets to the destination.

Objective: “Follow the scent of the schemers' tracks to discover what they're up to.”
Scent of Wildlings
Follow the scent to the South and to the lower door that is to the left of the Well. Go through the door and into the Tunnels of Mole's Town. Once inside the tunnels you want to head through the door, around the barrels, to the South. Head all the way to the end of the corridor to the South, turn to the West at the end of it and then back South. The scent leads right to a wall. Interact with it to summon Mors and Alester.

Switch to Alester and look to the right. Just opposite the third woman is a skull plaque on the wall. Use the Vision of R'hllor to reveal a hidden mechanism to open the door that is blocking the Hound's forward progress. Head into the passage, switch back to Mors and resume tracking with the Hound. The trail once again heads into a wall in the middle of this short corridor. Switch to Alester and move to the right-hand edge of this wall. On the wooden beam is a hidden switch in the Candle that Alester needs to use the Vision of R'hllor to reveal. Before you move into the revealed corridor, head over to the West and use the lever there to reveal a hidden room.

Inside this room you will find one of the murder scenes. Be sure to investigate the shelves nearby the secret door. You can find 10 silver, the “Key to Mole's Town crime scene” and a Bloodseeker Iron Helmet. Be sure to also investigate the scroll sticking out of the buck's skull. It has a Westeros Archive and a Seal of Knowledge. The Archive adds the “Long Night” codex entry.

Down this next corridor, Mors simply needs to throw the switch at the end of it to clear the path forward. Once the door is open, head to the West to the following door on the right. Have Mors open the door there. Head southwest from there to the first door on the right. Just inside is your destination.

Smuggler's Scent
Head forward and over to the door to the right of the Well, leading into the Tunnels of Mole's Town. The scent leads through the brothel and over to the kitchen, down the stairs over to the second doorway on the left. It then goes through the kitchen, down the stairs and through the trap door in the cellar that leads deeper into the tunnels. Once in the lower tunnels, resume tracking the scent trail. Head down the stairs to the South. Just past the corpse you will find a door. Interact with it to summon Mors.

Go through the door and keep going to the South. Turn to the East with the tunnel then back to the South for the next door. Follow the scent trail to the South and then switch to Mors and follow go through the second door down this southern corridor. Head through the door there then the next door to the East. Turn to the North through that one and go through the nearest door to find your destination.
