Game of Thrones Walkthrough Part 65 – Mors – Promise, Part 3

Head up the stairs, following the ground. You will be taken to the throne room of the castle where Mors and Jeyne will be able to meet Arwood Harlton at last. Be sure to take a moment, if you have not already, and claim the scroll that sits on to the left of his throne. It contains the codex entry for House Harlton and a Seal of Knowledge.

Harlton will immediately want the Maester to examine her. Mors can either push to go with her or see that there is little danger around the keep.

Going with Jeyne has you do much like Harlton said: Head out of the Throne Room to the left, down the hall, and into the door just beyond the first corridor. Jeyne will insist that she see the maester alone at this point.

If you stay, then Harlton and Mors will talk. He remarks that he knows Ser Westford. Mors can question the man of what he knows or that he simply does not like that he does. Asking him what he knows, reveals that Mors was one of his favorites for the Battle of Stag's Mount. He will then ask how Mors came to be on the Wall. Mors can either go with he deserves his fate or be careful not to reveal too much. Even keeping it vague, Harlton gets to the point. He makes it clear that he figures out what the situation was. He promises to reveal more over the coming dinner. Either conversation goes this way.

Objective: “Go find Jeyne in Maester Martin's Chambers.”
That name seems a little familiar … nah. Head out of the Throne room to the left and into the first door on the left just past the hallway. This is also the only time you will have a chance to explore Castlewood. Head out into the courtyard and you will be able to sell off any excessive gear. You can do a little more but heading into the Courtyard and talking with the Blacksmith Domeric. You can either reveal what you thought of his relative, Poddy, or cover it up. Whatever you do, be sure to refill or upgrade your healing potions and have a good stock of them!

Head inside after that and over to the Maester's chamber. Just inside the door, to the left is a bag with 7 silver inside it. Be sure to also inspect trhe herb tack to the right of Jeyne. There you can find 6 more silver. Finally, look at the table in the middle of the room. There you can find a Westeros Archive with a Seal of Knowledge. This gives the codex entry, “Valyria.” Now talk with Jeyne. Mors will share his concerns with her. You can simply opt for perfect or say that there is no rush, allowing you to explore the keep some more. After, you can talk a little with Maester Martin. He has a number of things to say, but after that, it is time for dinner.

Dinner with Harlton
Head out of the Maester's chambers and to the Northwest. You will quickly find yourself in the hall. Open the double doors then approach and talk with Harlton to move events forward. Save here before you talk with him, there is a trait on the line later on. Harlton reveals his plans over dinner, trying to bring Jeyne over to his side. He is pushing for the Targeryen's to return and she is resisting. Over the course of the conversation Mors can make choices but it is painfully obvious that something was done to him. Harlton reveals that he is responsible for for Jeyne meeting Robert. Mors can either reach to being poisoned or push to protect Jeyne. This is a flavor choice.

Dinner Fight
6 men come at Mors. This is not an easy fight and you are poisoned on top of it. Even if you beat all 6, the scene will fade to black. In this fight there are, initially, 3 in Light Armor and 1 in Medium. Focus on any clusters first and use the Dog as a much needed boost. After that, 2 more will come in from the back of the room. 1 is in Light Armor and attacks with a Crossbow while the other is in Medium Armor and has a sword.

If you win the fight, then you will receive the trait, “Habit.” This give a bonus of +2% resistance to critical hits.
