Also in the Encampment, go to the Notice Board (near the training
grounds) to get some side quests. You should accept all notice board
quests. You don't have to do them right away, you can do them later, or
while doing other quests.
Goal: All manner of training opportunities are posted here. Successful completion of each earns a base reward of 1000 gold and 750 experience

Objective
Slay 2 Seabirds
Region: Cassardis Vicinity
Reward: 500 Experience
Request:
A warrior should have keen sight to strike even the smallest targets with precision. Lately the seabirds have been all over the fish we dry out in the village. Hunt some of them down and help hone your warrior's eye.
These seabirds can be found on the beach, all the way from the encampment to Cassardis. Hunt these gulls during the daylight. Ranged attacks are good against those seagulls, but if you are a fighter with no ranged attacks, you could try jumping and attacking them before they fly away, using a skill such as Skyward Lash (Sprint to the birds and hope they fly towards you, then use skill when they are over your head), or use explosives such as Throwblast or Dragonspit, or use throwing knives. It is a bit tricky to do this for melee characters, might require a lot of practicing. Enter any town and go back out to reset these sea birds.

Objectives
Slay 8 spiders
Region: Witchwood
Reward: 1200 Experience
Request:
Go and slay a knor of spiders
These can be found in a forest in Witchwood. To reach Witchwood, go north from the encampment, west into a valley and then south on the road. Note that these spiders are pretty small so it is easy to miss them, so search thoroughly.
After accepting a quest, first note the quest marker on your map. Then, continue by searching for the required items, enemies, or information. If you've come to an impasse in one quest, why not try progressing through another? You may find a solution to your initial problem. Also, you should try setting it as your priority quest to ensure you receive helpful hints and information. Also note that people seldom venture our at night. You should seek information in the daytime. You can always rest at the inn until night ends and day begins.
