Finally, you set out from the village of your youth. Take to the roads and head for the encampment.

Note that the game has an auto-save function, periodically saving your progress throughout your adventure. You can also save manually any time you like through the Pause Menu. When you leave Cassardis, you will get the following trophy/achievement:

The world you are in is called Gransys. Follow the road west. Soon you come upon a peddler, called Reynald, who is under attack. Your objective is to save the peddler. You and Rook attack the Goblins. If a Pawn possesses the right knowledge and skills, they may be able to assist you in tandem attacks. These goblins shouldn't pose too much of a thread for you, but when foes seem too much to handle, try gaining levels or obtaining better equipment.

Kill all the goblins that are attacking Reynald. After you defeat all the goblins, talk to Reynard. He tells you he is a traveling salesman, and that the goblins that attacked him almost ruined his wares. Thanks to you, it was only wares he lost. So he considers it a bargain. He gives you a leather cape as a reward. You should go to your inventory and equip the cape, which will add to your armor and reduce the damage you take.

You may see more peddlers hawking their wares as you make your way around Gransys. They often come across rare items not found at more stationary shops. If you see a peddler, make sure to check what they have to offer.

Continue on westwards. Explore Seabreeze Trail. A wealth of useful items can be found by vanquishing monsters or exploring the environment. Keel your eyes peeled. For example you can find a small nut, a spade, berries, and more on the ground which you can pick up. You can see a full description of any item you possess by checking your inventory. Materials collected during your travels can be used at shops or other locations to enhance your equipment.

The Encampment is not very far from Cassardis. Soon you reach it, thus completing the quest, Upon a Pawn.
