Game Of Thrones Walkthrough Part 25 – Alester – The Lion's Will, Part 1

Start by having Alester move to the North. Talk with Old Ren, who is at the opposite end of the plaza you start in. Talk with him to get pointed to the Red Keep where you will learn the Queen and King are. Whatever you choose, you will be able to choose the other option as well after he has run through that dialogue. If you give any money, that will finish out the conversation. But talking with him makes it sound like your Brother might not be in town. Time to keep on looking. Head to the East now, through the nearby gate.

As you get into the main plaza, you will encounter the Reapers, lead to you by Old Ren. They want you to come along. You can attempt to bribe them, chat them up or just tell them it is out of the question. Talk with them and you will learn they want to go at you to lure your Brother out. The bribe option is not too viable as they are after the 100 gold dragons for your brother. That is money that is hard to top. It comes down to letting them spread rumors or fighting them. If you lie, you can get out of the whole thing without a fight.

Continue into the Plaza to look around. There are a few merchants around to buy and sell from. Be sure to look in the bucket in the well. It has some silver in it. Head into the building in the North of the plaza to find Old Ren again. You can either let him go or kill him here. The choice is yours.

Now head back into the plaza and go over to the East. Head down to the South then go East as far as you can before turning North. As you approach the Manse, you will see an angry mob outside of it. Approach it for a cutscene. The Gold Cloaks are pulling the servants out of there. Wex, a minion of Valarr, has pulled all the servants out from the manse and is demanding answers from here. Valarr kills one of the servants, Janna, for begging for her husband's life.

Just after the scene, Valarr and Alester meet at this point. Valarr gloats about his new standing. The two argue some about the various matters they have. Valarr says the house is barred for now. Alester is not one to listen to his brother here.

Turn to the right and approach the man to the right of the door, the one with the 3 drops of blood on his tabard: Endrew. This gives Alester a chance to show his view on matters. Now head to the North and talk with Hubb who is by Janna's body. He is not very forthcoming with answers. You can either reassure him or force it out of him, the choice is yours. Hubb reveals that Gawen did not much talk about his family. You can either respond in nonchalance or a bit of anger. Hubb will reveal that Lambert knew a bit more as he could read and had not long ago received a letter from Gawen. One letter said Gawen was coming soon. Be sure to talk the about Gawen to learn about a second entrance into the house.

Follow Hubb as he takes off to the South. Take the first left and keep up with him. He will stop if you fall behind.  When you approach the back gate to the house, 4 thieves will attack you. 1 has Light armor while the rest have none. After the fight, head to the left of it and investigate the barrel to get a little extra money.
