Game of Thrones Walkthrough Part 7 – For This Night and All Nights to Come, Part 1

Objective 1: Go to the Castle Black training field to train the recruits
Once you make it through character creation, it is time to get started with the game. The first choice helps you get a feel for things. Mormont speaks a while and you make choices about what to do next. After all that, Mors tells the newly Sworn Brothers to gather in the Exercise Area. Head forward and to the right. Go between the buildings there to find the exercise yard to the right. Hit “Esc” and go into your inventory. Time to get this tedious part out of the way.

The Inventory Tutorial:
Equipment Menu: Weapons
Each weapon is set to a particular stance. If you only have one weapon, it will be keyed to your default stance. Once you collect more, you can add them to different stances. This will ensure that you get the most out of each unique stance.

Equipment Menu: Armor
Armor increases your health. The weight determines your ability to dodge and how quickly you become fatigued. It also helps determine your type of resistance to damages.

Equipment Menu: Flasks
Flasks can only be used and filled when they are equipped to your belt. Keep this in mind whenever you are low on any of them.

Equipment Menu: Jewels
These are the accessories of the game. These are only effective while equipped. Keep that in mind.

Equipment Menu: Quest Objects
These are collected for specific quests and used during them. They cannot be sold.

Combat Tutorial: Attacking an opponent
Left Click to add an attack command to the action queue. At any time you can have 3 attacks in the queue and they will be executed in order. To cancel an action, left click it.

Using abilities
Hit space to enter into active pause. In this state you can choose what abilities you will use. Left click them to have them added into the queue. It is important to note that the game is not truly paused. The action continues, very slowly. Remember to pay attention to how the ability works. It will either trigger after an auto-approach or where your character stands.

Combat Tutorial: Changing Targets
Use Number-pad 7 & 9 to change between targets. A Green circle means the target is selected. A Red Circle means that target is being attaked.

This will go on until you have inflicted just over half health damage to one of the two recruits. Mormont will appear and tell you the fate of the wounded boy.
