Valley Windworks

Now that you have the key, getting into the Windworks is a very simple matter. Head up to the door and hit “A”. It will ask you if you want to use the Works Key, say “Yes” to gain access to your next challenge. Walk on in.

Immediately the Grunt, who was outside, will be amazed you got in then dash off to alert the Commander. Follow him to the left, turn upwards and shortly beyond the corner you will see a Grunt waiting to challenge you to a battle. He has a Zubat, lvl. 13, so keep on guard for Super Sonic which can confuse your Pokemon. It then will attack you repeatedly with Leech Life. If you are lucky to avoid  confusion, then the fight will be pretty easy, if not, it will just take potentially a few turns more. The Grunt will mention that Team Galactic needs the electricity for something big. Head on through the opening just above the Grunt to the right. There is another Grunt in the upper part of this room, but if you want to avoid fighting him just walk to the right below the equipment in the middle. He, if you walk by him, will challenge you, again stating Team Galactic is collecting the electricity is their mission. He has two Pokemon, a Glameow, lvl. 11,  and Stunky, lvl.11.The Glameow will likely open with Growl, lowering your attack, then after a while, attack. Use the times it Growls to launch a strong offensive against it. The Stunky will play much more aggressively, attacking frequently with Fury Swipes, and likely using Screech as well to lower your defense or Focus Energy to boost its change of a critical hit. It can also use the move Poison Gas, so hopefully, you have some antidotes for after.

After this Grunt, keep going to the right. You will see a small number of people in the next room. The Grunt next to the entrance is the one you beat back at the door to the building. He will complain about how they will take away his Pokemon for losing, but he has faith in his Commander's ability to beat you. The Commander is the lady with the red hair, walk up and talk to her to challenge her. If your team is feeling worn from the last few battles, take a moment to heal them with Potions or run back to the Pokemon Center to restore them. This is going to be a tougher fight.

Commander Mars
She introduces herself as one of the three … no … four commanders in Team Galactic. She reveals that they are trying to create a world better than the present one and people are misunderstanding their goals. She then challenges you to a battle to determine what they will be doing next. If she wins, you leave and if you win Team Galactic will leave.

Zubat lvl. 15
Bite, Toxic,
The move Toxic alone makes this a fairly dangerous Pokemon. Toxic acts like poison, just over time, the damage increases. Mostly though it will attack with Bite, which can cause your Pokemon to flinch. Zubat is not an incredibly durable Pokemon, so some solid hits will take it down.

Purugly lvl. 17 – Holding Oran Berry
Scratch, Fake Out, Faint Attack,
It will most likely open with Fake Out, so be prepared to lose the first move. After that, it will change between Scratch and Faint Attack. Faint Attack is worth some note as it has perfect accuracy. Purugly is sensibly tough so be ready to pound on it a bit. Just keep at it and you will take it down.

Commander Mars is irate at having lost, but is happy to have battled you. After she finishes talking to you, a scientist, Charon, chastises her for losing, but makes little of it as their goal was accomplished. Using the collected power they can apparently do something big. After talking a bit more, Mars tells him to shut up, as only the boss can order her around. After that, she has everyone clear out in an instant.

At this point, there is only one scientist left in the building. He will come up to you and talk to you about Team Galactic's goal to gather Pokemon and energy at any cost to put toward creating a new universe or so they claimed. He will say that everything they said made no sense to him. He tells you he is grateful as he can see his daughter again. This is when the little girl will come charging in happy to see her father again. Immediately she tells him to go home and take a shower. He agrees to do so without complaint. The little girl then mentions that the “Balloon Pokemon” will come visit again. Afterr this, you are free to move around again. If you talk to the father, he will mention that the Balloon Pokemon will appear only on a certain day.

They are talking about Drifloon. This Pokemon will appear on Fridays on the left side of Valley Windworks. Just wait it out, if you want to catch it, as it will appear weekly.
