Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Factions Walkthrough Part 28 – House of Sorrows Part 4: The Eldest, The Weeping King
After your talk with Bisarane it is time to seek out the Scales and make your way to them in Damalroc. You will find it to the south of the Drowned Forest along the Caeled Coast. It is located in the southeastern portion. Just keep to the eastern side and it is easy to reach.
Damalroc
Once inside, head southeast. As you pass the first corner you will be attacked by 3 Sprites, one a Frost Champion. Beat them then head up the stairs. Keep going to the southeast and enter the large chamber in front of you. In here you face 4 Elite Murghan and a Banshaen Priestess. Take either set of stairs up and follow the corridor beyond the door at the top of them. In the corridor beyond, you will first face 3 Murghan, 1 of them Elite. This will lead directly into the room with the scales in it.
Head to the center of the room and interact with the Sigil-Stone there. This summons 3 Cave Murghans to you. Go to the glyph pattern on either side of the room. Kill the Murghans so they fall within the Gylphs.
The path leads to either Caelrod or Alarane. Talk with either to learn that they want you to find the other. They will open the door behind them, giving quick access back to the scale, if you agree to find the other. Return to the scale room and go to the Sigil-Stone once again. Interact with it to summon more Murghans and kill them on the other side: If you seek Alarane, on the western side & if you seek Caelrod, on the eastern. Talk with Caelrod or Alarane then wait for them to meet in the center of this area. You now need to seek out a key within the Hollow of Sinsear, of the Weeping King. Exit out of Damalroc. There will be Sprites and a few Murghans in your way, but nothing of true note.
The Weeping King
Once outside, continue to the south, farther along the Caeled Coast. Cross the bridges into the southern portion and turn to the east as soon as the path does. Follow it, cross the next bridge to the east then returning to your southern trek. Cross one more bridge and then it is a straight shot to Sinsear. Head inside quickly.
Sinsear
You will find whoever you chose there waiting for you. They explaion you need to collect 3 Votives to gain access to the key. Head south and in the first chamber you will encounter 3 Boggart Plaguebearers. Head east and south to find the first chamber holding the Votive of Leaf that is guarded by 3 Boggart Zealots and a Bog Thresh. Defeat the Thresh to claim the Votive.
Head down the corridor to the east first. This leads to the next votive. This one is held by a Sprite Flame Champion who has 2 more Sprites as back up. This one holds the Votive of Flame.
Now head south and to the west. This leads to the final votive, of Water. It is guarded by Banshean Priestess. Defeat her quickly to avoid more enemies getting involved.
Crying Eyes
Head to the west from the room with the Banshean Priestess. It will remove all the Votives and open the door. Just follow the corridor. As it turns north, you will find 3 Sprites, one of which is a Storm Champion. Enter into the next chamber to find the Crying Eyes. This puzzle is simple, you need to pull the levers in the order shown: Left, Right and Center. Do so and you may claim the key. Just had to the north from here to find. Claim the indicated branch and it will be time to return to Bisarane again.
Fast Travel back to the House of Sorrows. Here, you will be ambushed and we move onto the final mission.
