Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Factions Walkthrough Part 8 – Warsworn Part 4: Mystic Hammer, Iron Keep Contracts and Quests.

Mystic Hammer
Head toward the Hollowlands. Between them and Alserund you will find Eagonn's Tomb. It is just to the north of the Motus Mining Outpost. Head on inside as there is no special access required.

Once inside, just head straight and claim the hammer that is inside the tomb. You now have the Mystic Hammer Remains. Time to head to Ironhold Keep. Head to the east. It will only time a little while to get there. Once inside, seek out Gywn who is to the southeast of the entrance.

As you head back to her you will come across the contract board and nearby you can get the quest, “A Master's Touch” from Gavroche Valle. Visit the contract board to get the quests “Spider Season”, “Whereabouts Unknown” and “

Once you talk with Gywn, she will direct you to the Hall of Firstsworn so you may reforge the hammer. The Hall is to the southwestern portion of Menetyre.

Hall of the Firstsworn
Once inside the Hall, you will learn that Gwyn's Mother last departure was to the Hall of the Firstsworn. You can talk with Gwyn some to learn more about her past. After that, depart to the southeast. You will find a number of Kobolds blocking your way. Deal with them and continue to the south.

Continue east to the next chamber where five more Kobolds block your path. These are Kobolds, Rogues and a Nightblade. Open the door they were guarding to continue. Now head south and east to reach the next chamber with four Kobolds, one of which is a Nightblade. Defeat them and head down the southern passage. Turn west and head across the giant chamber. Attempting to cross summons a Mountain Troll. This should be somewhat familiar now. Handle it appropriately for your class.

As you enter into the passageway toward the Hall of the Firstsworn, Gwyn will find her mother dead. Let her mourn then move forward. You will be blocked by magic, but keep trying and you will hear that only those fated to go through may. At this point, you can approach the door and fateshift it open. Just head forward and you will find the forge you need. Interact with the forge to reforge the hammer

A Master's Touch
The Hermit Smith is Efyr. Head into south central portion of Menetyre to find him. He will help, especially if you completed “Time of Need” already. Talk with him and tell him that the old master is dead. He will immediately want to venture there, fix the sword and finish the apprentice's training. He will ask you to head to Hurvar's Doorsill to collect some Master's Tallow. With that he will depart for Ironfast Keep.

Head to the northwest of Ironfast Keep and you will find it there. Head inside and go northwest. Just down the first set of stairs you will find three Faer Gorta waiting for you. Continue to the north head down the corridor, keeping away from the center. There are two mines waiting for the unwary. Cross the bridge and four more Faer Gorta come at you. Defeat them and head down the stairs just beyond you. At the base of the steps you have four more Faer Gorta. Continue forward into the next room. There, five more Faer Gorta await. Head down the stairs and through the door to the west. While four more Faer Gorta wait in this chamber, just to the west is the Master's Tallow. You will find it in an average warded chest.

Now return to Ironfast and give Efyr the Master's Tallow. Deliever it to him to get the sword and he will offer to train you in advanced Blacksmithing.

Contracts:
Missing Person – Alserund: “Whereabout Unknown”
Head from Ironfast keep west into Alserund. In the southeastern portion you will find him underneath a ridge. Collect his staff and you will be attacked by a flock of sprites. There is a Flame Champion in their number so be wary. You will likely draw the attention of some Boggarts and a few Sorcerers.

Secure Delivery – Adessa: “”Running with Scalpels”
Talk with Adrith to receive the blades you need for the contract. You will need to then head for Adessa to complete this one but nothing too bad overall to do. Once in Adessa, head to the east and downwards to find where you want to go, The Isles. Once there go to the north to the Basilica Gnostra. Head, going to the right and up the stairs then going to the west to find your recepient.

Spider Thinning – Menetyre: “Spider Season”
Kill eight spiders in the area and collect the stingers to complete this quest. You can easily find them around the Hall of the First Sworn and throughout the area. This one takes care of itself.
