Take cover opposite of Dante in the doorway. Three guards will patrol the next area. When the coast is clear, head straight ahead to cover. From here, run out to knock out the guard in white before quickly running to the back of the area to take out the guard in green. Leave this small room and run up the stairs to push the final guard over the ledge. Jump across to the handhold on the other side and slowly creep up the stairs to find another enemy. Take him out while he’s staring at the wall.

Jump across the ledge and look to the right. You can climb over this low wall. Climb over and down to the platform. Examine the second indent in the wall for a treasure. Climb back up and follow the path to find one more guard. Take him out and Drake will call for Dante. Examine the vines in the doorway to find another treasure. Follow the path deeper into a cavern, which will trigger a cutscene. Chase is under attack. Jump out onto the columns and climb right, over the pillar, and jump back over it. Take out your sidearm and begin to fire upon the guards below. Wave upon wave of them will come out. Don’t worry about conserving ammo, as you’ll have infinite handgun ammo while you hang. You will probably need to switch sides on the pillar eventually to mop up the rest of the enemies.

If you don’t kill all of the enemies quickly enough, Chase will die and force a checkpoint restart. After the battle, climb to the right, over the pillar, and jump back to arrive at another broken wall. Jump over and climb right. Jump back to the other column and continue right. Jump back to another broken wall, climb left, and jump over to the platform. Dante will now try to follow you. You’ll have to get on the turret and protect him while he crosses. This will be significantly easier than protecting Chase. Simply point and shoot, with no worry of overheating or reloading. When Dante gets to you, head into the room behind you. You can grab an FAL from against the right wall if you want. Otherwise, go left for a breakable wall and a cutscene.

Climb up after Dante and prepare for combat again. Grab the grenades from the bhest high wall at the top of the staircase, then take cover behind it. Use a grenade to kill the three enemies clumped together by the lower right-hand staircase. Mop up any survivors and head downstairs. Follow Dante down the narrow stone path, watching out for enemies who will pop out towards the bottom of the staircase. Another large wave of enemies will attack in this next room. Jump up the broken steps to the left and take cover in the small archway. Watch out for two enemies with shotguns, one of whom will try to flank you.

A sniper on one of the ridges in the center of the room will watch over the massive wave of enemies in the next room. Tossing grenades can be effective here, as there are so many enemies the splash damage is bound to get to some of them. After the battle, loop around to the right side of the arena and climb up the first series of large steps to your right to find a treasure. Head out of the room through the stairs straight to the back of the area, scavenging ammo from the corpses as you go. Follow Dante down the linear path and jump down into the next area to trigger a cutscene.

You will need to avoid the enemy on the turret, who cannot be killed until you reach the other side of the room. Head around the corner, hugging the left wall to avoid the turret fire. Climb the handholds on the broken section of wall and wait for a break in the gunner’s fire. Jump across to the right to hang off of the dangling column. Quickly loop around to the back to avoid the gunfire as the gunner begins shooting again. Wait for another break in the gunfire and jump right again to another dangling column. Loop around this column and jump forward, closer to the gunner. Jump to the next wall and descend to the ladder of yellow handholds. Note that if the breaks in gunfire aren’t quite enough for you to make it from one column to the next, tossing grenades in his direction will also be enough to buy you time to jump across. Just don’t expect them to kill him. You will have to do that now.

The gunner will leave his position and run around the corner as you descend the makeshift ladder. Melee attack him to defeat him. Head across to the other side of this platform and examine the wall to find another treasure. Grab it and head through the path in the middle. Walk down the stairs to trigger a cutscene and end the chapter.
