Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning Walkthrough Part 9 – Haxhi and Sidhe Sidequests
Haxhi
Talk with Stellan Reitan, who is in the southern part, to get the quest, “The Height of Crime”. Which leads into Splitrock Depths. Wait before going in.
Head over to St. Eadric's Mission and just inside, to the left, you will find Brother Holt. Talk with him to get the sidequest, “Band of Brother Monks”, which also is inside Splitrock Depths.
Head to the northern portion of Haxhi, where it leads to the northeastern part of Webwoods. You will find Declan Malus, one of the Warsworn. He and Jory, another Warsworn, were ambushed by Trolls and Declan was nearly killed while Jory was. This opens the quest, “A Brutal Contract”
The Height of Crime
Inside the Depth, head to the southwest. Take the first northern turn to find a pair of Barghest and beyond them some treasure. Now resume your southern trek. Turn to the right when you can to find a secluded treasure chest with some fun weapons inside. Continue on after that. If you have detect hidden, at the next T-intersection, first go to the left, then right, as there is a pile of rocks you can loot there.
To the right you will find four Faer Gorta Sentinels that need to be dealt with. Now just continue south. You will encounter a trio of Barghest either way. If you have Detect hidden, go to the southwest to find some more goodies.
In the next chamber you will find five more Faer Gorta Sentinels waiting for you. Deal with them then head to the south to find Despero's corpse which has Stellan Reitan's Journal. As you leave you will likely be attacked by another monster. Just fight it off and then exit out of the Splitrock Depths.
Return to Stellan Reitan who is just outside the Splitrock Depths and turn over the journal to him.
Band of Brother Monks
Head into the Depths. At the first intersection, turn to the northeast. Follow this through and take the exit to Haxhi that you come across. On the other side you will find Brother Padric's corpse. Loot the body to find his travel notes. Return them to the mission to Brother Holt.
Sidhe
Head southeast of the mission to find the Vorm Lodge. Inside you will find Sihtric Vorm who will give you the quest, “Aggressive Brownies”. Complete it open the next quest in the chain, “The Brownie Den”. Next talk with Arhaus Vorm to get the quest, “Dangers of the Sidhe”. Once you complete “Dangers of the Sidhe”, talk with Luca Soren to get the quest, “Hunting the Thresh”
Dangers of the Sidhe
Head to the northeast of the Lodge. You will find a waterfall. If you approach from the western side of the stream be warned there is a Thresh and a number of Boggarts waiting for you there. Cross over to the eastern side of the waterfall. There you will find the Searstalk. Grab it and head back to the lodge.
Hunting the Thresh
Head to the marked portion in the southern area of the Sidhe. It is just slightly to the northeast of Rundimar. This one sits in a circle of Boggarts so have some fire-based weapons at the ready (or spells) to deal with it and them. With it dead, just return to Vorm Lodge and talk with Luca to finish the quest.
Aggressive Brownies
Head to the marker in the southeastern part of the Sidhe. You will find the group only a short ways from the entrance to Detyre. There you will need to wipe out a troop of five Brownies. It makes for easy work and pay. Now return to the lodge to progress on with this quest. He will ask you to go with him to Rundamir to further investigate this and come to understand the cause of it.
The Brownie Den
Head inside Rundamir to start the next part of this quest chain. Approach Sihtric to learn the cause. Now you need to make your way into the depths of Rundamir and kill the crudok that awaits there. Head forward into the first chamber and deal with the four Pestilent Brownies that are there. Now turn to the southwest and start in that direction. Take the first left you can, though there are two more Pestilent Brownies waiting for you at that intersection. When you reach the next chamber, quickly wipe out the next batch of Brownies as there are four of them.
Turn to the southwest and keep moving in that direction. Where the path gets crossed, you will find another pair of Brownies waiting to ambush you. Kill them and head on to find your target, the Crudok guarded by four Pestilent Brownies. Kill them all to complete the quest. After the battle Sihtric will talk to you and give you your reward.
Haxhi
Talk with Stellan Reitan, who is in the southern part, to get the quest, “The Height of Crime”. Which leads into Splitrock Depths. Wait before going in.
