Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning Walkthrough Part 8 – Lorca-Rane Sidequests

Coming in from Glendara, keep to the right and make your way up the slope. Be warned that there are a lot of Jottuns in the way so be ready for some good fights. You will find a bridge going north from this slope. On it is Jedda Kerning who can give you the sidequest, “Lost”. Continue to the north, bearing slightly west to find Marga Sammoc. She tells you that her lover has been turned into an Antelope. Talk with her further to get the sidequest, “The Antelope”. Now head over to the east. Along the way you will likely spot Osduin, talk with him, choose “Who is Boderill” to get the chance to persuade some information out of him. After that, opt to help Osduin with his quest, “The Flowering”.

Lost
Head to the far eastern part of Lorca-Rane. You will find the person's body so loot it, grabbing the contract. Now return to Jedda on the bridge. She will give you a nice helping of gold and the quest is completed.

The Antelope
Head to the northeast. You will find it easily enough, even if there are about five Jottuns in the area to hunt you down. Kill them, loot the brazier with the dead antelope to get the silver chain then head to the southern side of the pavilion you are in and talk with Oreyn. He will ask you to let him out. You can either oblige him or let him stay in there. When you return to Marga, you can persuade her to head home, tell her the truth or lie about the Antelope. The choice is yours and the reward is the same whichever way you take it.

The Flowering
Osduin will send you after a number of chrysalae seeds that are spread throughout the region. There are five spread along the edges of the region. A simple circular sweep will get them all for you. Once you have them all, head for Brunuath. Go inside and head to the northeast. You will find Osduin standing on a raised dais. Talk with him and he will instruct you to plant the fives seeds in the five recepticles for them. Once you do, he will ask you to stand on the platform in the center to begin the next part of the ritual. This summons five sprites at you, two of which are Fiery Champions so Ice-based weapons are a great choice here. Next, four more sprites come at you. There is one Fiery Champion this time so take that one out first then kill the others. He will give you a Gem of Cultivation for your efforts.
