Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword Walkthrough Part 10 – The Deep Woods

head on forward to the first clearing. You will need to deal with another Bokoblin War Leader and his troop. Kill him first then keep going forward, down hill. Expect a number of Bokoblins in this area as tere is another along here. At the bottom of this path is another tightrope. To cross this one you need to shoot down the Bee hive that is along it.

On the other side lurks a Bokoblin. Stillk, take the first left you can. This short series of ledges leads to a log you can roll over to create a quick access path back to the start of the area. Now continue along downhill. You will encounter an Octorock at the bottom. Deal with it then take a moment to notice the broken bridge. Turn around and look to the left. There is a ledge you can grab and scoot along. Do so and on the other side is another tight rope to deal with. This one has burrs but also a Bokoblin that will come to meet you. Use your new slingshot to clera out the burrs then just cross. The Bokoblin can be dealt with the same way as the burrs, by jostling the rope. It takes a moment it will cause it to fall to its doom.

Climb the nearby ledge to find a Sky Save Statue. Use it if you want to. This is a good time to return to Skyloft and collect some helpful upgrades. First, visit Beedle's Traveling Shop. Use your new Slingshot in Skyloft to ring the bell below the zeppelin. He will lower a rope you can use to climb up. Inside you can get a number of this, but immediately the most important is the Bug Net for 50 rupees.

Return to the Deep Woods and it is time to resume travel through to find Zelda.

Head to the edge where you see the hanging rope. You need to get some good swings for you to safely clear the gap. On the other side you find a new enemy type waiting for you, the Quadro Baba. This is twice as tough as a Deku Baba and it can open its mouth either horizontally or vertically. It takes two hits opposed to the usual one. Kill it then head over to your Goron. Friend. He has just found a cube and wants your help to open it. You need to hit it with a Skyward Strike to active it.

Once activated it unlocks a particular chest in the realm of Skyloft. Not something to worry about for now. Turn around and push the log down to create a shortcut for yourself later. Head on down the series of ledges to your left and go for the temple in front of you. As you approach Fi tells you that Zelda's aura is coming from the nearby temple that also has a number of monsters in it. Fi kindly points out the save statue that can return you to Skyloft if you need to get some better gear. Head toward the door and look up, aiming with your slingshot. You will find a Red Gem above. Shoot it to open the way into the Skyview Temple.
