Evolution is the most fundamental element of the game of Pokemon. As it helps fill up the Pokedex but also allows for various species to reach their full potential. While this change is brought on by numerous things throughout the game, the most fundamental and basic method of evolution is by leveling up the Pokemon. When particular Pokemon hit a certain level, they will have the option to evolve into their next form. By letting them evolve at the earliest point possible, you fill up the Pokedex the fastest; however, by keeping them in their present form, you can learn different moves or learn them sooner.
This guide focuses solely on Level Based Evolutions. If the Pokemon evolution you are looking for isn’t here, please look at Pokemon Evolution 200, as it covers all other forms of evolution. As the most common method of evolution, it is likely to be the longest as well. In general this guide is listed according the National Pokedex. It is the simplest method to provide all the information in an orderly fashion anyone can access. Everything will be listed from the basic form of each species to eliminate numerous mentions of a single chain.
